Volunteers

The Blue Privateer Fleet is comprised of volunteers, largely drawn from Neptune's bounty hunters, smugglers, and explorers. When the call to muster is issued, they set aside their personal pursuits to defend Neptune, bringing their ships, expertise, and battle-hardened crews to the fight. This part-time structure allows the BPF to maintain a massive fleet without the burden of full-time personnel, making it an efficient and cost-effective defense force.

Privateers

As privateers, the BPF's ships of the line operate under letters of marque, granted by the Technocrat of Neptune. This designation authorizes them to hunt down and engage enemy vessels, claim prizes, and collect bounties. Between musters, privateers roam human space, seeking out opportunities for profit and adventure. This lifestyle fosters a culture of self-reliance, adaptability, and cunning, making BPF crews formidable opponents in any engagement. Buccaneers
