    The Aurora

Humans and related races came into being and grew in power. Each of the major humanoid races (humans, dwarves, elves, orcs, and halflings) worshiped their own version of a single creator-protector deity. Halflings and gnomes are the oldest, followed by dwarves, humans, and lastly elves.

    Disaster / Destruction

Out-of-control Lizardfolk magic caused a massive explosion, creating a rift in the southern Verthik Mountains that became the Kepesk Pass and allowing them to leave the Greenstorm Jungle for the first time. This also altered the fabric of Temshai, exposing it to other Planes Of Existence and allowing for planar travel.

No longer confined to the Greenstorm Jungle, the Lizardfolk armies marched on southern Myas'tara. By the end of their conquest, they controlled the Nythenor Plains, Kalaskar Swamp, and parts of the Girimbor Caverns and Dalgablun Marches. In 732 BA, long before the lizardfolk advances on the marches, the Dalgablun Mob razed the human town of Stillwater, unknowingly driving the humans south into the lizardfolk's grasp.

  • 732 BA > 729 BA
    The Sandsower War
    Military action

Juddarith, a human necromancer in the city of Qarathas in Eastern Rasharan tried to raise an army of undead and gain control of the city. She was put to death and her rebellion was put down, but she had enacted the rituals to become a lich long before.   Over time, the lich allied with genies from the Elemental Plane of Earth. Catching Qarathas unprepared, the lich and her armies razed Qarathas and the human settlements in Eastern Rasharan, submerging the land in deep sand. Calling herself the Sandsower, she advanced westward, but was halted by the combined might of the halflings in Western Rasharan and the surviving humans who fled west. With her phylactery destroyed, the Sandsower War was ended and the surviving genies retreated to Eastern Rasharan.
