Myas'tara

Myas'tara is Temsahi's largest continent with diverse climates. Most life on Temshai originated in Myas'tara. Nearly every race originated on Myas'tara, and those that didn't have some presence there; with the advent of air travel, it's never been easier for the major cities to be more culturally diverse. Myas'tara has an outer ring of mountains, the Horseshoe Peaks, comprising most of the west, north, and east coasts, and a central mountain range, the Verthik Mountains, that surrounds the Greenstorm Jungle, a mysterious, unexplored, jungle at the heart of the continent.
Myas'tara has two big forests: the Forest of Telnara to the west and the J'Zanassi Forest to the east. The Nythenor Plains to the south provide a relatively safe point of entry to Myas'tara, with the denizens of Eleth Lilanor trading regularly with the Lizardfolk of the Kalaskar Swamp. Towards the east, uncivilized Goblinoid warbands patrol the Dalgablun Marches and a rock bridge, the Rashtara Span, provides a crossing by land to Rasharan. Orcs inhabit the Mosharg Steppes to the north.
The mountains are home to many other races. Dwarves inhabit the Girimbor Caverns in the southwest part of the Horseshoe Peaks, Twilight Elves in Eleth Telora guard an entrance to the Subtide Nexus, and tribes of Aarakocra and Goliaths can be found higher in the mountains.
