Powdered Pig
With a view of the Tower of the Clouds , the Powdered Pig offers its guests one of the finest lodging experiences in Pendril. A wide, two-story building of plaster and re-painted timber, the outside of the Inn welcomes weary travelers with coin to spare with a wide porch, its rocking chairs pulled out to offer a cool respite during the humid summer nights along the northern coast of the Eldorian Sea. A large sign hangs over its double front doors, the smiling head of a hog covered in blond curls swinging softly in the breeze.
Inside, the common room offers a half-dozen tables for four and a pair of larger ones that can accommodate parties as large as a dozen. Crisply pressed white linens are covered with excellent Galencian porcelain and silver wrought and monogrammed for the inn by smiths in the city's own Khadric Corner. The decor matches the sign - with drapes in pale pinks and ample light from candles in varying shades of red. Paintings of the trademark pig, nicknamed "Molly," adorn the walls, each with her perform some common task such as drawing water from a well or baking bread, always dressed in frilly pink with a twinkle in her bright blue eyes.
The Dining Room at the Powdered Pig
The staff prides themselves on their service, offering an unrushed dining experience that features, of course, a number of Soulmeliti-influenced pork dishes. Their wine cellar includes a fine collection of Human vintages from the region and a few excellent bottles of Soulmeliti whites and Galencian reds. The Inn also offers lodgings, with both single rooms and suites available to let. Rooms are clean and well-appointed, though no one from Eldoria would call them luxurious.
