Glades Bay
Named for numerous mangroves that grow out of the brackish waters along it northern and southern coasts, Glades Bay, and reefs that dot it, are home to hundreds of varieties brilliantly colored fish. Hans von Ghana noted wryly that all of these fish are "bound to attract something" and it "may as well be sharks," an allusion to reef sharks that prowl it water, ready to snack on anything - fish or sailor - that moves in its waters. Fortunately, there is little traffic in these treacherous waters. Too far south to be of any value to the Azermathian kingdoms, and out of the way for anyone seeking to brave the voyage around southern Tarien to the Merdenkal Peninsula, the waters of Glades Bay remain an isolated haven for Mother Chetria.
