Calais

Calais. Sometimes called the 'City of Flowers', is the capital of the Mechanis Empire and the largest city on Mechis II. It has stood as the heart of the Mechanis Empire for generations.
Several landmarks and impressive works of architecture can be found here such as the Lumere District, Gran Vargas Park, or the Palace of Glass which is the royal palace of the Mechanis Emperor.

Government

Calais is governed by a city council and a mayor. The council is elected from among the local citizens of Calais, while the mayor is appointed by the Mechanis Emperor to work for a period of four standard years.
