Author's Notes

Although the stars in the constellation Draco is not particularly bright, it's one of the older constellations we have. It is the dragon slain by Hercules, and the former north star of our own planet. Back in the days of ancient egypt, Thuban, marking the head of the dragon, served as their pole star, and the Egyptians built the pyramids to align with it. It's also the location of the Cat's Eye Nebula.   The Draconids are a meteor shower that we often get in october, named as such because they look like they're coming from Draco.
