Quarantine Class

The quarantine class is a pearl-built colony ship intended to carry its compliments across interstellar distances as intact as possible and then be cannibalized as raw material for the needed large infrastructure. It is mostly cargo, including its hull and shielding material like solar panels, water tanks and fuel reserves.
The idea being; its vertical construction, would allow it to land upright on a solid surface where its former passengers would live out of its module parts for months and years.

Power Generation

Fusion Reactor

Fusion fuel is cheap. Fuel in a confined environment with sufficient temperature, pressure, and confinement time create a plasma ball in which fusion occurs. This ball is released some distance from the engine's external nozzle where it explodes into outward waves that ships ride.

Weapons & Armament

Missiles

Missiles are the primary armament against long-range targets. They are guided delivery systems that can be fitted with conventional explosives, plasma incendiaries or varying-yield nuclear warheads.

Intercepting Lasers

Onboard laser arrays are used to break apart or alter the orbit of asteroids in the fleet's path.

Armor and defense

Nose Shield

The tip of the ship is of a deformable tungsten cone structure that acts as redundant shielding against cosmic rays in its path and will transform permanently into a tower's foundation once the ship is crashed onto a planet's surface for an instant building.

Thick Hull

One non-spinning layer acts as a vacuum sleeve to encase the other nested chambers. It is coated in several meters of solid tungsten that acts as shielding against cosmic rays.

Laser Arrays

Quarantines carry specially encrypted arrays for communicating within the fleet and older codes compatible with delphi models. Though they are not nearly powerful enough to reach interstellar distances on their own nor are they frequently equipped.

Quarantines were, without exception, loaded to the ceiling with incal cubes matrices that carry the minds of human prisoners.
As a result of their incorporeal state, the modules' spin functions were never needed during the journey. Only being activated when they would be repurposed.

Synthezoids are an artificial construct where minds were uploaded as machines for maintenance all aboard the ship.

Gravity Generation

The habitation modules are a series of ten nested cylinders, capable of rotating about 6 times a minute along its main length while spaced 6 feet apart. The outermost deck simulates 1G, with the gravity at the centerwards layers being 10% less than the one below it. They are connected via the centermost corridor with ladders and stairs.

Saucer Clamps

Similar to the main body, a large heavily armoured ring is nestled behind the nose shield. It is capable of generating spin gravity independent from the rest of the ship and was meant as a docking point for smaller crafts to attach.
