Round 1 - Laureat parents

Both Laureat parents have separately purchased properties in upper layers of non-noble court city (Rich Commoner District). Both able to take some personal belongings and creations. Damasque has hired Leesha as a bodyguard from Yvette. Worries people will be coming after her. Absalom's mother (Dulcinea) refused to go with him even although he asked.

Round 2 - Thornhill Underhand

Thornhill Underhand was a professional spy. As the “spare” son, he was always the one sent on the most dangerous intelligence missions. There is a rumour that the most recent assignment was investigating the Laureat family for practicing forbidden arts. Was sent to track down banished former member (Todfrey Laurence). Even people who have tried to get a vibe with magic found it blocked. After Thornhill went missing, Victor's message mentioned Thornhill had Sketches of James Baharat. Gave reasonable cause to search the Laureat Estate.

Round 3 & 4 - Johann(a)

Johann(a) – just showed up in the Academic District with no family history and no parents. Earliest rumours are only shortly before they applied for Todfrey. Found James Baharat who had ventured out to experience the city, fell in love and started a secret relationship. The relationship was uncovered by the Baharat family and the Vizier (Cardamom Baharat) called a Whisper Vote – James Baharat was banished. Johanna recently fled – after they discovered someone (Lindie!) had gone through their stuff. Amongst this Connie hears snippets of Undercommon mish-mashed with Mongrelfolk language that she doesn’t understand. The Mongrelfolk delivered the message for Lindie from Johanna, and Johanna was looking for people who could get her in touch with Lindie. More info could be gleaned on a casting lower in the city. At some point someone spoke about Johanna in Mongrel language.

Round 5 - Kronk Greenskin

Kronk Greenskin – most people at court are begrudgingly considering the question of Kronk’s guilt to be a settled matter (i.e. that she was declared Forgiven). Cobbler Bakerstreet had a smoking gun from Absalom (planted by Lindie). Bakerstreets are more worried than anyone else about the disease because Felinet has just gotten sick. The Nightkeepers seem grumbly and the Baharats and Underhands are unsatisfied with leaving the Laureats alive.
