Kyberus
Kyberus is the smaller sister planet to Hylas, but far better as a place for life to exist on. It is a ripe spot for the common temporal distortions that plague the collective later called The Orbital Archipelago, and is probably the home world of the sentient races of ryclin & grebel kinds alike.
Most of the planet is naturally in a state roughly akin to a rain forest. Forests are large, with massive trees, and plentiful rain that doesn't always reach the surface, with instead some deep rooted and networking systems developing in some regions to work this out. Still, there are a fair amount of more odd tropics, arid lands, and of course large oceans. After vahamin colonists, several clearings have been made for heavy cities, whilst ryclins work more off a road-like stripline of housing networks, and grebel live more in trees. Among the odd quirks the planet has, is that it almost never sees a true "night" phase, as the twin planet of Hylas is often bright enough to provide a near eternal reflection of the sun's light. Instead, Kyberus works with consideration of a solar day time, and a blue night time, where at times they depend more exclusively on Hylas which emits more of a blue glow onto the air. As a result, few wildlife are adapted to darker sight, save for those largely dependent on dense tree cover.
A biome considered unique to the planet, are the Zirr fields located in small regions. These are like colorful grasslands, with tall and illuminating grass, and strange small gnarled trees called 'death spires'. These fields are considered both beautiful, and dangerous, for the territorial and aptly named Ziirguards as well as hidden toxins, poor surveillance over foreign threats, etc.
