Hylurk Labs is the largest transport studies company with origins on Kyberus. They are also among the top three best in rift-warp technology and distributions, trumped in the field only by GalaxHop. They're responsible for developing most of the Orbital Archipelago's most prominent airborne vehicles, and even some terrestrial and aquatic ones. They also play the role of helping to hold more physical transportation ties together. They are responsible for vehicles such as the progressively improving M4 Solreach, most pedestrian-class Cargo ships, The Cloud Bug lineup of on-planet flyers, Abyss gunships, and more...
History
The company started out as a community meeting center on the outskirts of Valdeen when it was still blooming between a town and village. The group explored numerous technologies that were coming through, and began to set special interests on flight and anti-gravitational themed innovations. Hover platforms were replicated, and they began to get more serious about designing a 'laboratory' to reverse-engineer a foreign space craft. Early results were dangerous, but eventually they came to master the form, and even modeled some ideas from later assistances from the Vyllk race. They were the first group entity to produce, distribute, and become trusted for a native ryclin vessel, and quickly inflated in scope, productions, and corporate activities. This also lead for them to care for the upkeep of various community features, and travel, essentially becoming government aids in holding some stability in network/trade/travel methods. They tried with positive success in also distributing rift gates, small power generators, construction contracting, but have infamous failures in selling medicine and entertainment.
Years after the Orbital Archipelago was formed as a unified government entity, they already had light footholds on former ryclin colonies and expanded into becoming a staple group of investments in vehicular technology. Ships like the M4 Solreach were made to work with Vahamin needs, and the company opened up to allow further outsider influence and staffs, with Iskaar holding the strongest mix of human-ryclin employment. Hylurk Labs continues to be the most prominent maker of OA-native flying vehicles, and their rift gates and assistant work around properties is known as essentially the common 'off-brand but safe' alternative to GalaxHop.
