Vahamin
Vahamins are a type of human that practically found the OA by at least some part of their own free will. They are relatively advanced, capable, and successful in many aspects, and pride themselves as the role-model example for many other variants of humanity found across the omni-verse. Yet their own history isn't without some dents. The very classification comes from their warp point of origin, where they were fighting for their own independence on a terraformed planet called Vahamo. In a desperate bid to find contacts or signals of use to their advantage, they found a glitch that was later investigated as a tear into the OA system. In time, a crew that would return and study with a smaller ryclin colony on the large moon called Atylon. As a force developed, and communicated, the moon became a major and wide-spread base of their operations, was mildly adjusted more to earth-like conditions, and renamed to Atlas during the formation of a legal peace and system of governance via The Orbital Archipelago. In fact, some humans claim they're more of the reason the system exists, even if ryclin have developed across more of its places and express the old saying of ownership through a phrase of "All paths lead to Kyberus". Needless to say, the humans still produced many changes and ideals.
Gateways and supplies are still exchanged to Vahamo, with alleged claims that centuries of peace have been stabilized, but Vahamo is barely considered a proper OA turf and not much is known for sure. The vahamins later spread in different quantities across the system, and live in large part with desire to educate and understand the worlds and systems of the OA as their prime initiative. As such, they revere education, data collection, and sometimes intensive studies and social relation programs. However, they also have more in-depth approach to regulations, social programs, and a tighter grip on some things that occasionally brings up a larger authority side compared to the laid back ryclins. Their groups and societies have virtually self-segragated in many ways, with their being an entirely different approach to even how ryclin and humans build and structure the layout of their towns and cities. Yet, they co-exist peacefully, with many ryclin even having an assigned human mentor that helps them as a mediator through life. As such, often when humans are addressed broadly in the context of the OA, it is with intention towards this well known and prominent type.
Culture
Common Dress code
As humans, they have a large fashion code that varies greatly. Civilian people have an endless and quickly shifting set of diverse trends, ideas, styles, and materials. However, most professionals and by-products of the OA governance itself, represent themselves in colors dominant of white, with gray, and blue prominent as secondary. Many scientists and special field rangers wear mildly baggy one-piece suits with pocket components, and data-beads or similar tech around the wrist or hand to work like miniature super-computers, or to toggle internal implants. For more rough jobs, denser head-shielded field suits are used by rangers, sometimes colored orange for demands of visibility. Military professions are handled often at first via proxy, but where personel are needed, they sometimes dress very similar to full-suit rangers to fool the eye at first glance, but to also make use of any number similar or better equipment for multiple types of environments. Only in few times, or deliberate visual tricks, do the Vahamins deploy something akin to the soldier attire of old with helmets, boots, and fearsome masks, and proudly toted rifles.
