SAWC
SAWC is the common label and shorthand used, and even pronounced [Sawk] for the formally titled: Social Archipelago Work Currency. The currency is tied to deeds and services by citizens of the Orbital Archipelago. Every registered citizen is entitled to benefits and life their species requires, including even the eccentric values found with races like Mysiloids, and Ryclin. However, to truly go far or advance in serious strides, money is required and often answered by a range of worth based in recognized contribution. Digital value is levied to secure bank accounts across a universally applicable network. The bank takes in materials, services, or foreign trade goods for governmental use, and churns out points that are used for special grants, goods, or material exchanges for the citizen. Likewise honorable accomplishments, titles, or achievements sometimes bump their account rate up, and crimes or violations can subtract the account, being used as both trade exchange currency and a moral give and take. Entities like Bounty Hunters rely more on exchanging foreign goods, or battle spoils, while meek programmers are overseen by a regulated business that has an authorized boss give out tickets that can apply SAWC to their accounts for their work.
This system is mostly accredited to Vahamin philosophy, between welfare and corporate measures combined. Ryclin prior were more confused in bartering measures, just able to get on by with basic bartering ideals when Vahamins proposed this currency standard whilst writing up the ideal documents of forming the official OA system.
