Nugget's Queen Starcrown

Starstone 12's one and only Nugget's Queen restaurant, located in the mass public Sector D shopping area. Initially a larger building among smaller indie stalls and vendors, by its one-year anniversary it was pulling in large crowds of locals across a wide species specter. It was mostly Vyllk operated, in large part thanks to relations from Syrena's project director being a Vyllk that sent his sister Cossa, and some of her friends to work their. Yauti quickly surfaced as the most capable and happy manager, with secretive knowledge to its more nefarious purpose with a general organic life-form meat processor unit taking root in a lesser-known basement.
The location went through some turmoil during a hiring period of Orkayl, and a series of events told through his small plot of adventures in Queen-Sized. Throughout about about two-three weeks in time, the crew became addicted and unhinged to their own products, and Yauti never managed to get the situation under control even as she tried to romantically control Orkayl from causing any more conflicts. Eventually the store fell apart after a terrifying scare of a larger ryclin client consuming numerous people, and breaking down objects, all while staffing problems and agent conspiracy was underway.

Former Staff

Notable staff that once worked there include...
Yauti: The "Princess" manager. She was one of the few permitted to know of the full purpose of the location, and worked through a cheerful and upbeat corporate attitude to fatten-up and send as many diverse life as possible to a meat processor for export. She eventually succumbed to her own addictive foods, and surrendered to be eaten by Kipp to absolve her shame and confused romantic feelings for Orkayl.
Jymral: A green male ryclin that worked on staff mostly as a back-room cook. He had a decent balance of serious and laid-back attitude that kept him admirable and well focused. However he was also a bit of a helping plant from Syrena to help keep Yauti in check, and was also more knowledgeable about the general plot. He went away just as conflict truly boiled, and seemed safe at first. Yet he didn't have quite a full special treatment as he thought, and eventually got bloated up and slaughtered casually to test the processor machine after the chaos.
Ubor: A long-term male boarian employee. He worked a bit sloppy and careless, but still worked well when pushed, and found it easy to keep in line with most rules from his vegetarian diet until Sandra incidentally made him addicted to the sweets. Coincidentally enough, he would later be cooked up and fed to Sandra to keep putting weight on her for sacrifice - with even byproducts of his bacon grease being used in odd creative mixtures.
Brandon: A lesser known human employee from before Orkayl's time. Its hinted he wound up knowing too much, and was eliminated for meat by an angered Yauti. She took some inspiration from the event, and tried a different approach to encourage Orkayl to be a bit different upon his own discovery, speaking to him more on par as a carnivore of unusual interests.
Qualla: A yellow harpy vyllk that worked to bring out orders and serve them at a speedy rate. She was once good friends with Yauti. She was the first to slip up and break the rule of no-eating-products, and quickly bloated up with binging addiction across a couple days. Yauti found her to be a disgrace, and in the face of her first over-fed ryclin customer, saw more reason to offer Qualla as a complimentary bonus food - potentially hoping to one day harvest any weight she could put on the ryclin.
Brown Zadran: An unnamed zadran who was mostly grumpy and working just from the loud outset that his career was 'just a job'. He still helped himself to some treats when it was allowed, and quickly suffered from conditions of how his race responds to unintended obesity. He resigned with heart problems, and likely survived in medical care while NQ itself underwent more collapse.
Kardi: A red harpy vyllk that worked closely with Cossa more to market and bring outside attention to the building itself. She was a bit dim, energetic, and vain, sometimes holding a gossip and flirtatious tone onto others. She indirectly angered Yauti by gossiping about her rising weight, and soon Yauti pushed it to become her and Cossa's problem the same way. Kardi showed the most shame out of the staff, and was said to often skip work only to come back when she wanted to binge more food. Eventually Yauti plotted to overfeed her around a staffing party, and made her eat burgers, and shake until her abdomen physically imploded.
Cossa: A silvery vyllk, close friends and workers with Kardi. She was a bit more 'geeky' than Kardi, and often spoke of media, and internet rumors, but still kept a more outwardly model appearance in line with most color-dancers for her job... until she was coerced into over-eating their products alongside her friend. She quit in protest after seeing her friend burst of eating, but was still fated to perish with NQ when a blubbery and hungry Gessie stormed in on her protest, and swallowed her up. Less known to the staff, she was actually related to one of the Sycore coordinators, who narrowly missed the window to save her.
"Pinkie": A lesser known vyllk dancer that never had a pronounced name, akin to the zadran. She was assigned to help cover for Cossi/Kardi as they were putting on too much weight for their duty, but she herself grew big enough to be confused for another 'big bird gulp' waiting for Gessie, and was one of her first victims of the rylie rampage.
Orkayl: The second ryclin employee (and main character of this small plot), hired after he quit The Drifters. He was distasteful of the health issues he began to saw, and dug into rebelling against NQ standards. Eventually he clashed with Yauti over it, and was shown the full makings in the basement. He was convinced to keep quiet, and eventually subjugated further as she began to feed and sexually manipulate him into a quickly growing and satiated doughball. He only broke free and called for help when he realized how fatalistic his own health, and environment was becoming at the hiring party - incidentally, also leading to a lot of its demise.
Sandra: The latest serious member to join in the failing system, a lioness assigned to replace Qualla. She was once a customer, but held off her cravings until Yauti first welcomed the break in rules to appease Orkayl. She primarily enjoyed the burges, sweets, or dipping the sandwhiches in lardshake. She was eventually fed her own co-worker, Ubor, when Yauti saw high profit results from processing Sandra's cousin, and wanted to continue fattening Sandra for another profit. The enlarged lionkin was barely saved between the collapse, and Yatui's own distracted addiction, though her state was initially questionable when she was Gessie's last NQ snack.

StarCrown 2.0

With Nugget's Queen meat exports going stronger in other places, and using some data from its year on SS12, Syrena never had intentions to let go of the location after its failure. Its very likely that its not only returning with a more pronounced identity, but other locations such as on the Lionkin homeworld, and on Kyberus may come into effect from discovered meats produced here.

Purpose / Function

To produce profit from customers, and export a variety of different meats as exports from consistent and corpulent customers that win a trip to the processor. Syrena and her board of advisors have had a good eye and interest on this location, though its full intent goes unrehearsed, and the public doesn't often get to know each other too well around this spot to notice the absent people. The cheerful vyllks and colorful feathers, with tasty food, all assure the masses that they only want to treat them as good as royalty.
