Wild Timberland
At the very fringe of explored territory, far beyond lands anyone would consider civilized, you arrive at this forest. While not the largest or most inhospitable, it is somewhat of an enigma. A small community has cropped up at this frontier woodland, capitalizing on the lack of anything even remotely resembling a settlement nearby. It is not a lumber town, but something altogether new and interesting, much like this odd forest.
While difficult to quantify, there are many unique qualities to this forest. The trees glow a faint blue at night and, on special nights, light up brightly to reveal secrets new in this world know. Rumors abound of fey creatures roaming these woods, and somewhere, someone can be heard spreading the rumor there is a gateway into the Feywild here. All things considered, even if these are all but rumor, it is considered the most magical forest in the world to those that know of it.
