Dravenholm
Founded by a group of sailors that colonized this region, who some believe were pirates. As they discussed the name of their new settlement at the local pub, it was determined 'Ravenholm' was an appropriate name, given the proximity to the forest and number of ravens in the area. The person writing everything down, however, was not inebriated and misheard the name. The request for assistance from the nation in jump-starting their new town sealed the name forever. After the awkward initial shock, it became a humorous local story that locals love retelling. This city has had a relatively easy time growing and flourishing, given they are directly on the main trade route with Bloodhammer.
This city has a grudge against technoforged, due to an event known as Technoforged rebellion, involving militant technoforged taking the city hostage non-violently. When the city was raided by soldiers of the Aldoran Sovereignty, many civilians were harmed and killed in the conflict that ensued. Despite almost all casualties occurring from the soldiers attempting to free the city from insurgents, the technoforged seeking freedom received all of the blame and ire from the citizens living here, and their descendants. To this day, to even speak of technoforged, let alone be one, could bring on a fight rather easily.
