Renalia
Built just approximately 100 years ago, this is the new capital city after the old capital came under siege from a powerful pirate fleet. After the crisis was resolved, it was determined the capital should be landlocked in a defensible position. This spot had no direct access to the open sea, is located on high ground and has much more land capable to use for farming nearby. The city has grown quickly and is currently larger, if you count the farming communities in the vicinity, than the old capital.
As the capital of the Aldoran Sovereignty, the defenses of this city are second to none, even Tor's capital. There is a high stone wall around the city, and yet another even higher wall around the keep where the royal family lives. The city has a nearly limitless supply of water, and has the space to store many months worth of food. The castle is set upon raised land, with plenty of natural defenses to match.
The people of Renalia are generally friendly, though most move with purpose. You won't find commoners sitting around to talk to random strangers often, everyone here considers their time valuable and keeps very busy.
