Jupiter

Jupiter is the fifth planet of the Sol System. The largest planet in the system, it is named for the old Human god Jupiter, who was the 'King of the Gods'. The planet is a gas giant, with a large series of moons orbiting it. One particularly prominent feature of the gas giant is a giant perpetual storm very visible from orbit, named the Great Red Spot. Outside of the habitable Earth and Mars, Jupiter is the biggest economic driver of the Sol System. The Sol Habitat Complex has its main administration station in orbit of the gas giant, as well as a major habitation orbital. At the edge of (and in some cases, within) Jupiter's atmosphere are a number of hydrogen and helium mining stations, which predate the newer habitat stations.
