Human Species in Milky Way | World Anvil

Human

Humans are a sapient bipedal humanoid species that originated on the continental world of Earth. Humans are known to adapt easily to any environment, living on most habitable worlds with some measure of ease. They are also highly nomadic, thinking little of relocating to other settlements or worlds. Compared to many species, Humans are considered to be wasteful, prone to overconsumption and lacking frugality. Human society on Earth has, over centuries, developed a society that encourages and thrives on individual freedoms and cultural differences; as a result, humans tend to integrate well with alien populations. Genetic augmentation and modification has led to a number of 'subspecies' of humans, but the average human has benefited from this with a lifespan well over one century.
