Duerinilar (dwair-een-eel-ar)

Duerinilar is a dwarvish keep, north of Euvurcrest. As one may presume, the population is mostly dwarves and was given to the Rimetusk Clan for supporting Eldurgrund in the War of Storms and Wings . The land was never the best, and the dwarves were neglected their desire for a hold in the mountains, but they have lived in the area to this day.
The keep is a daunting presence, having dark grey stone contrasting the green fields around it. It has no wall and is shaped like a plus sign, with 4 heavy doors blocking each entrance. The stone is said to be at least 3 feet thick on each wall and incantations are said to protect it even further from any magic that passes through. The dwarves rarely come out of their slumbering keep, and those that value their lives avoid it as well.
Snow is known to strike Duerinilar more than most of Eldurgrund, coming sooner and lasting later in the year. During these times, berries native to the Icelends are usually grown by the Rimetusks.
