Player Primer

A few notes about the world are to follow. Each race will have a bullet about how it fits into society, with their respective page that goes a bit more into detail. There is no test, there is no specific amount of depth you need to know. This is a growing resource for you to connect to the world that you are impacting in the game.

Society

Human ,Elves ,Dwarves  make up the bulk of Mora and are prevalent in all the lands across Knustny.  Each commands an area of the world as their homeland, but they can be found practicing their trades all over the world.  They will be tolerated in almost all civilized nations.   Gnomes ,Halflings ,Half-Elf  are a minority in most areas, but are not unwelcome.  There tend to be some of each in cities, and they can be found in all major settlements.  While some may give them 'special' attention, they will go reasonably unnoticed.   Goliath ,Tabaxi ,Warforged ,Genasi  are rarities in civilization.  When ever they leave the confines of their tribal nations (or designated guarding spots) they are sure to be noticed.  While some people may take threat to their presence, most find them just a curious.   Half-Orc ,Dragonborn ,Tiefling  can be frightening.  There are many people who will not want you to hang around, or ask you to leave.  There may be some villages that 'run you out of town'.  Larger settlements will often begrudgingly leave you be, but you will almost always be watched.

The Party

The people at the table will make up your party, and while the Dungeon Master will attempt to resolve all scenarios inside the game, you are a part of that solution.  Be ready to join the group on the task at hand.  Find things you want to accomplish that align with the groups interest, or can be accomplished in Down Time.  If you decide that your character is just no longer fit for the party, bring it to the Dungeon Master!  Just like a soap opera, they can be written out and a newly risen from coma party member (results can vary) can be brought into the game.

Organizations

You can consider being a part of an organization, but ensure that it will fit in with the premise of the story.  It should not take extra work to keep you with the party, unless that is the plan all along.  If you desire to make a character with a set 'ending', just discuss that scenario before play begins.   It is worth however realizing what kinds of groups there are in the world, and how they might respond to you.  Planning on becoming a powerful caster?  You will eventually have to figure out where you stand with the Order of White.  Going to be a gnome?  Well then are you going to go clan less or join up with one of the traveling groups?  Dwarves are born into their clans, and normally die in the same clan...is your story different?  If you are looking for where you fit in the world, looking at your characters Class is only the first step.  Seem overwhelming?  How about sending your thoughts about what you want to play to the Dungeon Master.
