Half-Orc

A blood pact with a demon can bring the blood of ferocity to a man. The spawn of that pact is known as the half-orc. Man reach for this power during a prolonged war, and now the remaining half-orcs are neither accepted or needed.
Half-Orcs often find themselves in service to Gauntlet, the last human nation to still practice the 'blood pact'. When not in the military might of Gauntlet, adventuring seems another viable avenue. Proving themselves to people through acts often gives them a place to live.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Darker ashen or grey skin with white tusks coming from their lower jaw.  Some more pronounced then others, but non can pass for anything other than the 'Blood Cursed'.

Genetics and Reproduction

The first half-orcs were made by human sacrifice ritual to a demon.  The exchange was a transformation of their bodies to something more physical, something more powerful in warfare.  Half-Orcs can produce more half-orcs with humans or other half-orcs, but their blood is cursed to do anything other than that.

Growth Rate & Stages

Half-Orcs grow and die at the same rate as humans.

Ecology and Habitats

Banding together as they are the remnants of a time frame in human history that is no longer required.  Half-Orcs often find themselves at the fringes of society and only called upon to beat down the local wildlife.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Heavy meat eaters, as the cursed blood calls for it.  Some fall prey to savagery and will eat the fallen in combat.
