Genasi

The magic born children of genies are all female. Genasi that are left without their genie masters, or are released from service, discover a freedom they did not previously understand.
Some of these genasi find themselves adventurers traveling across the lands. All bear marks of their heritage and power over their elements. Genasi work hard to prove their worth, and often become intermediaries between creatures of different planes.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Bearing hallmarks of their elemental origin leads all genasi to have slightly, or deeply, toned skin.  Ranging from dark blue water genasi, to bright red fire genasi, it can be almost any color.  Their hair often plays out in an elemental manner as well.  The white locks of an air genasi always billowing or shifting in an absent breeze.  The earth genasi's hair rigid or spiked with a black shimmer of onyx.  Genasi are always female, even the offspring that comes from unions with non genasi.  Their magical origins seems to play out no matter how far they are.

Growth Rate & Stages

Genasi children grow and become adults like the mated pair of the non genasi.  When they are first made, the genie creator determines what age they are 'at birth'.

Biological Cycle

Genasi live beyond one century, but almost never two.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Genasi have powers over their respective elements that grow over time.  This often leads them to live in areas where they can maximize their use of innate power.
