Dragonborn

The Dragonborn are remnants of the last age that now exist in a time that no longer remembers. The blood torn people at the end of the Mantle War now have deep strains of dragon in their heritage. They bear the hallmarks of the dragons that created them, though those dragons no longer exists.
These dragonborn live mostly secluded lives in northern cities where they can live without much discrimination.  They still bear in mind the previous mantle names and carry their names as clans to fall under; Karakan, Leviasas, Rigigapotin, Frokoton, Igniatus, Umbrakish.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Scaled and often have spikes in some form of arrangement on their heads.  They come in their respective color, which is revealing to what kind of breath they can exhale.  The metallic colors are often more favored, just as their predecessors were.  The chromatic, particularly red, black, and white, bring many people to fear or panic.

Genetics and Reproduction

Though originally created during the Mantle War as humanoids torn by raw magic, these offspring now birth young in pairs.

Growth Rate & Stages

Their babies are in eggs, that once hatched begin quickly developing.  Dragonborn become fully functioning in under two years and are full size and considered adults by 12.

Biological Cycle

Dragonborn often live to a century, but will return home far before their time has ended.  Perhaps just tradition, the Dragonborn feel called to their elements when they are settling down in life.
