Dwarves
Scattered across the lands, leaderless at the start of the age, the dwarves hold tight to their clans. Though the King Clan has been identified, the dwarves are only recently taking back their previous cities to restore their proud nation to its previous glory.
The Dwarves have nine clans, which each have many offshoots. Battle is the King Clan, followed by Thunder, Hammer (Forge Master), Shield (Forge Master), Flagon, Beard (Forge Master), Mason, Axe (Slayers), and Anvil.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Short, stout, and often with a beard. Many dwarves also sport long hair, all of which is intricately braided with talismans. Their skin tones vary with environment, as hill dwarves tend to be more brown, while mountain dwarves tend to be more grey. Dwarven brethren, though now very distant, bear the hallmarks of the elements they once served. Duergar are ashen and white, following the shadow. Azer are fiery and black, fires still kindling their blood.

Growth Rate & Stages
The only dwarves you meet are over thirty. They have learned a trade and are ready to make their name known for the glory of the clan.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Ale, cider, grog, bourbon, brandy, mead, lager, perhaps something lighter like beer.
Biological Cycle
Dwarves are all about their clans, even the exiled tend to work towards regaining favor. To a dwarf the glory and survival of the clan is above their own life, and many of proved that claim true. Dwarves will run towards heroism and masterful craftsmanship, and they revel in the challenge.
