Tabaxi

The cat like race has an internal curiosity for new things. Their tribal nation often takes the new and best that people offer. Though they integrate and learn, they often find themselves growing bored with what they had previous interest.
Tabaxi adventurers are just a stage of life for tabaxi. Almost all tabaxi find themselves wandering with random strangers that on occasion become long term friends.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tabaxi vary from white fur with black stripes, to mottled reds and browns.  They often sport coast of spots or stripes, sometimes just solid coats with little masks or white paws.  Their tales make up a lot of their personality, twitching and swaying with their mood.

Genetics and Reproduction

Tabaxi mate in pairs but children are often raised communally.  A female leader of a tabaxi tribe will name them based off their attitudes or environment when they were born.

Growth Rate & Stages

Tabaxi curiosity leaves people to believe they are children for longer than they are.  Tabaxi reach adulthood around thirteen years of age, and rarely live past half a century.

Ecology and Habitats

Tabaxi like being up, and dry.  Their native lands are the Skitri Isles, where you find them in tribal tree villages.  They cannot escape some of those habits and will often be found living in attics or high buildings, quickly retreating to safety during rain.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Tabaxi like to try new things, not that they are any more inclined to like things than anyone else.  It does not seem to persuade them from trying new things when the last thing they did ended up bad.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Like cats, they hear very well, and can climb what others cannot.  These lead them to excel at some things people will frown at.
