Warforged

The warforged were crafted by the dwarves as guardians of important ares, or vaults carrying valuables. Some can still be found protecting these locations in remote regions of the world and deep underground.
Warforged that outlast their locations or complete their duties find themselves searching for new purpose. Often that leads them to a path of protecting cities or adventurers who become their family.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Composed of wood and metal, animated by dwarven ruins and magic.  Your sentience was partially given by the joint effort of elves and dwarves to create eternal guardians.  When the purpose of your creation was lost, new meaning in your existence was needed.

Genetics and Reproduction

You do not reproduce, and it is uncertain if dwarves and elves have continued to produce more warforged.

Growth Rate & Stages

The only way your body changes is through magic or dwarven craftsmanship.  There are other remains of warforged, that if scavenged, an apt blacksmith might be able to work with.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Eating is a formality of other races that you can participate in, just remember to empty the box every now in then.

Biological Cycle

Though you are mostly wood and metal, there is a spirit to you.  Warforged cannot normally make a connection to a deity for divine powers, but they can learn the task of almost any race.  They have all the time in the world, unless someone dismantles them.
