Session 16 Report

As Pōtiki, Suiadan Innion, Bain de Soleil and Harthe were confronted with the old mage, they were suddenly plunged into darkness. They later awakened in a dingy basement with the old man sitting in a chair at a distance in front of them. He demanded to know who they are are and why they were in his house. Bain tried to bluff and lie but he was able to see through it all. He got increasingly agitated and threatened to banish them. He was then suddenly distracted though by a commotion upstairs and disappeared to investigate. The group took the chance to try leave but were impeded by an invisible barrier between them and the door. Shu found he was able to misty step out and couldn't understand why the others couldn't. Tyna Brushgather appeared in the room as the others were still trying to figure out how to escape their invisible cage. She helped them with a stone of teleporting. in and out of the cage. They all escaped the house and as they were leaving saw that Lucca Antovia and Jennivere Antovia were causing a commotion to distract their grandfather and they subtly waved the adventurers off. They all regrouped a little way into the woods next to the town and Harthe showed Tyna the papers they had found. Tyna congratulated them on finding proof that the old man was living under a false identity as Lord Lugdon Nekovich and was wanted in Yvas for the murder of his wife. She sent a message to her organisation and asked Bain if she wanted to come with them to see him to trial. Bain said yes and Tyna told her to meet them at the docks after she had said her goodbyes to her friends. Tyna left and they could soon here the shouts and commotion as Lugdon was arrested. The party talked and said goodbyes. Bain asked them if they wanted to come on the boat to Yvas but the others did not want to go. When they waved her off on the boat They played her a farewell song. Bain flew over them and then returned to the boat and waved goodbye. The remaining party members returned to the local inn for dinner and bed and over dinner discussed their future plans. Po discussed not knowing what he needed to do about his patron and how he had had a dream that he could hear his patron and he was very angry but could not hear what he was saying. Shu suggested that he was ready to return home. Harthe and Po asked how he would do that and Shu said he thought he would need to return to Vanimaldine. They decided they would take him there and leave in the morning. Before bed, Po went to the forest and prayed to Kuzmjir asking if there was anything he could do to help his patron or if it was his problem but he got no response and went to bed.
