The 18th century in Helerin was marked by significant events, particularly Forbin's successful capture of Daros, solidifying its control over the region.
Meanwhile, Teros experienced internal turmoil, with various factions and would-be usurpers vying for power, leading to a period of instability and conflict.
These struggles reflected the broader tensions within Helerin, as different powers sought to expand their influence amidst ongoing regional challenges.

- Forbin takes control of Daros as an allied force from Jalussan, Bostin and the Northern Marches launches a successful invasion. Pypar Ressmin is killed in the battle. The town of Callason is renamed Five Swords in honour of the heroes who led its capture. Brollo Montroman is made Lord Guardian of Daros.
- The League of Mar Miskun is formed as a protective measure against Forbin's amibitions.

- The relics of Rumos, first High Abbot of the Temple of Balcosh, are stolen.

- Yuli and Kali Norro, heroes of the capture of Five Swords, are killed in Mar Miskun.

- Solis, Crown Prince of Teros flees the machinations of his uncle, Gharand, to Daros. He is betrayed by Brollo Montroman, handed over to Gharand, and subsequently murdered. Haran Gerra is killed defending the prince.

- Jaron I of Teros is killed in a coup (age 68) orchestrated by his brother Gharand who succeds him (age 61).
