The Lunar Pantheon

When the Architects  still ruled in heaven, they appointed ten stewards to guide and protect the world they left behind. These regents can be contacted through a ritual known as The Divine Contact and switch every week corresponding to the waxing and waning of the twin moons. For their connection to the cycle of the moons, they are known as the Lunar Pantheon.   The Lunar Gods are extremely limited in what they can do. While they can divine understandings of anything they focus on, nine of the ten Gods are trapped in the blissful heaven-plane of Paradise. Mostly, they can talk to those who contact them via the Divine Contact. They can also select mortals as champions, which they empower magically as Paladins and can communicate with through dreams. The tenth god Haru is an exception, as they have a physical body blessed with immortality.   All of the Lunar Gods were once mortals that the Architects took a liking to. All have their own ideologies and personal baggage. They frequently feud and war between them, using mortals as pawns.   They go in this order:
  • Jade, Goddess of Order: New moon with small moon
  • Ishkibal, God of Redemption and War: No moons out
  • Orchid, Goddess of 'Progress' and Intellectuals: Crescent with small moon
  • Hiku, Goddess of Inspiration: Crescent with no moon
  • Theia, Goddess of Freedom: Quarter with small moon
  • Agamine, God of Peace: Quarter with no moon
  • Wimbo, God of Heroes: Gibbous with small moon
  • Emesh, God of Knowledge: Gibbous with no moon
  • Haru, God of Wanderers: Full moon with small moon
  • Lily, God of Loyalty and War: Full moon with no moon
