The Divine Contact
The Divine Contact is a holy ritual given by Halcyon in the late Divine Era. When performed, it allows the user to contact one of the Lunar Pantheon. Which demigod is contact depends on the current phase of the moons. The small moon's phases do not matter, as they change extremely rapidly (the small moon orbits the larger one) and spend half of the time behind the larger moon.
The summoned Lunar god does not have to interact or answer the mortal petitioner, though they do seem restricted from direct complete falsehoods. They can control the petitioner's senses, "answering" through a sensation of pain or discomfort; and they have gotten very good at bending their own senses of truth to avoid ever actually fully lying. There are reasons why priests often avoid giving this power to normal people - this is partially because the Lunar Pantheon often is quite disruptive to social orders, but it is also because they can be dangerous to even speak to.
