History

House Penge has a long history of ties to House Stout of The Icewater, with several House Penge knights serving the family in various capacities throughout the years, as Marshal, Castellan, Master-at-Arms or even as Sworn Swords to the Lords of The Icewater.

By the time of House Stout's extinction at the hands of Hallkatla Darklyn House Penge was already much diminished with ser Cornelius the only member left in the service of The Icewater, no children of his own, and whatever niblings or cousins he had pursuing other opportunities.

Ser Cornelius survived the attack by the Darklyn forces on The Icewater, taking into his service Brody, a young Page of the household. He lived the life of a Hedge Knight for almost two years, before arriving at Gladewood House in The City of Southbay in the run-up to the Tourney at Southbay 443KS, where he accepted the position of Master-at-Arms of Gladewood House.
