Roll of Honour in the Royalist Victory 454KS
As part of the celebrations for the thirteenth anniversary of King Tyon I Cray's ascension to the Throne of the Kingdom of Somercrag, the following Houses and individuals will be recognised for their significant contributions to the Royalist Victory in the Secessionist War of 454KS.
Ser Elysande Haynes, as the Royal Marshal, has led the forces of the Kingdom of Somercrag to victory for the first time, with several vital battles won under her command.
- Ser Elysande will retire, and recieve funds from the Crown to ensure she has a comfortable life for the rest of her days in Baremaw.
Ser Elton Slaite, as the Royal Justicar, has similarly been involved in the execution of the Royalist Victory, with the Secession War seeing the successful enforcement of the King's Law upon the land despite the rebels' attempts to subvert it.
- House Slaite is raised to a Duchal House, to take the place of House Hayford in the Duchy of the Lands East of the Hespeaks and in the Seat of Haycastle.
Duchess Virginie Southbay led her Duchy to near-unanimous support of the Crown and to significant victories on two fronts of the war.
- Ser Karden Hawthorne, long-time supporter of House Southbay, is raised to the Duchal position over the Duchy of the Lands North of the Witwells, to rule from the City of Fairdeep.
Duke Darron Blackbar's Duchy held the vital pass in the Northern Witwells, preventing Foxworth armies from entering Somercrag until late into the war.
- Ser Edeline Blackbar will become Steward of Felweather Keep until Garrel Durbach comes of age.
- All of Felweather Keep's Incomes will go to repairing the damage to Oldrock.
Duchess Jaenis Skanler's Duchy was the most divided by the war, but the Royalist forces amongst her Vassals were invaluable in winning the war.
- Ser Kiara Jast, former Sworn Sword of the Duchess, will found House Jast of Lowall.
Lady Lenila Redthorn-Errol led her House's forces in support of the Crown despite the betrayal of every other House in the former Hayford Duchy.
- The Crown will arrange a suitable heir for Redwatch.
Ser Franxis Flitch led his House in support of the Crown despite House Gaunt's instruction to abstain and the numerous Rebel Houses surrounding them.
- Ser Franxis' granddaughter, Fiyona Flitch, will become the King's Squire.
- Elize, ser Franxis' daughter, will form House Grice of The Ilves.
Ser Orwen Paege also ignored the instructions of House Gaunt to come to the Crown's aid.
- House Paege is given leave to open a passage through the Witwells to Last Rest in Baycotte.
Ser Agnes Ohill and ser Bob O'Cleireigh commanded two of the Crown's own armies.
- They are landed, as House Ohill of Serpent's Bridge and House O'Cleireigh of The Stonehouse respectively.
The Crown recognises those Mercenaries who upheld their contract in service of the Crown for the duration of the war: Geartha of the Urfine Rangers; Altha Hicks of The Lost; ser Aranna Osgrey of the Strong Hands.
- They are each invited to establish strongholds in the lands around Bayglen.
- For their part in the defence of the City of Bayglen, Altha Hicks is to be knighted by King Tyon I Cray himself.
The Crown also recognises the following individuals for their actions in the war: ser Prestan Greydall; Shela Blackwood; ser Elixon Flitch; ser Edeline Blackbar; Jeffary Justmann.
Finally, the Crown recognises the following Houses for supporting the Crown despite their previous involvement in Sola's Vanguard and, in several cases, attending Fairstrand at the call of ser Newall Foxworth: House Blackbar; House Blackmyre; House Greydall; House Teeze.
