Omi

The wealthiest faction in the The Land of Reeds, the Omi control the jade mines in the northern foothills of The Teeth. They freely trade with their neighbours and enemies, for it is said to an Omi there is no friend or foe, only those who they can do business with and those they cannot. Other clans accuse them of lusting only for wealth and caring little for others, but words are cheap when one can live in relative luxury.
Due to owning the largest mining complexes in the region, the Omi make extensive use of metallurgy in their arms and armour. They tend to field heavily armed and armoured troops with extensive artillery support.
Broadly speaking, the Omi are a defensive faction, dealing with attacks on their caravans of supplies and their traders throughout the Land. However, they see these as a ready supply of labour, as those they defeat they enslave to work in their mines.
One of the clan’s great treasures is rumoured to be a full suit of jade, kept hidden in a shrine accessible only by the Omi family itself.
