Phandalin Shrine of Luck

The Phandalin Shrine of Luck, the only established religious building in Phandalin, is dedicated to Tymora, the goddess of luck. The shrine's caretaker is Sister Garaele Edermath.   On Day 5 of the campaign, Conor McGregor, Herb Stoner and Rayphlárd visited the Shrine of Luck. Garaele told them that she was looking for help getting information from Agatha, a banshee near Conyberry. She asked the group to go to Agatha and ask her what she knows about a spellbook that once belonged to a wizard named Bowgentle. Garaele tried to do the same, but Agatha didn't appear to her. Garaele then learned that appealing to Agatha's vanity may help, so she acquired a jeweled silver comb. Garaele gave the comb to the party and told them if they offer it to her as a gift, she may be cooperative. Garaele gave the group one potion of healing as payment, and she promised to give them two more if they returned with Agatha's answer. Before the group left, Garaele healed Conor of his drunkenness by casting lesser restoration.   On Day 10, Conor, Herb and Rayphlard returned to the Shrine of Luck, this time bringing Shinzon with them. The group delivered Agatha's answer: "I traded Bowgentle’s spellbook to a necromancer named Tsernoth from the city of Iriaebor more than 100 years ago. I do not know what became of the book." Garaele was disappointed by the answer, but she still gave the group the two potions of healing she previously agreed to give them. Conor, Rayphlard and Shinzon then left the building, but Herb stayed behind for a moment. Garaele warned Herb to keep a close eye on Shinzon, that something about him reminded her about the Cult of the Dragon.

Architecture

The shrine to Tymora is a stone statue of the goddess standing in front of a small temple. Behind the temple is a small graveyard.
