Countries and Regions

  Yarath Ak Soe: Located in the north-western part, bordered by the Braxat Sea, with the city of Dacopolis being a major settlement.   Cumberland: Positioned centrally and leaning north, it's a plains region with cities like Avenburg.   The Wind Lands: Situated to the north-east, with cities such as Verlu and Shanin.   Everfell: Nestled west of The World's Teeth, with a terrain that suggests it's hilly and grassy   Nonny: Positioned between The World's Teeth and Mother's Fingers, with cities including Bal Morduk and Dolphin's Rest.   Al Folia: To the south of Nonny and east of The World's Teeth, with the Starlight River flowing through it.   Tagramoor: Located in the far east, touching the coast of the Dragon Sea.   Ak'na Dul: Occupies the south-eastern territory, boasting a coastline along the Broken Sea.   Riverland: Carved by a vast river system and home to several cities.   The Burning Sea: A desert region in the west with cities, including the Tri-Cities of Ynarian, Tal Valor, and Oggaruk, which stand as significant trade or cultural centers amidst the challenging desert environment.   Misty Isles: An archipelago located off the north-west coast in the Braxat Sea.

Geography

Hestoria is a sizable continent bordered by the Braxat Sea to the north-west, the Dragon Sea to the east, the Dreaming Sea to the south-west, and the Broken Sea to the south. The continent is characterized by three distinct mountain ranges running north to south: The Barrier, The World's Teeth, and Mother's Fingers. Dead Man's Heart stands as a significant peak within The World's Teeth. Hestoria features numerous lakes, including Lake Valnaki, Twin Lakes, The Last Sea (an inland lake) and Lake Sore. The Riverland region is intricately laced with a vast river system.

Climate

The climate of Hestoria, while varied, tends to lean on the more mild or warm side.

Fauna & Flora

Flora:

Blue-Glow Moss: Found in the caves of The Underdark, this moss emits a soft blue luminescence, often used to light paths and underground homes.   Hestorian Ironwood Trees: Tall, sturdy trees mostly found in Al Folia. Their wood is particularly hard, making it prized for construction and weapon-making.   Savannah Flame Grass: A type of orange-red grass prevalent in the plains of Cumberland, which appears to be "on fire" when swayed by the wind.   Desert Rose Cacti: Found in The Burning Sea, these cacti store water in their stems and bloom with vibrant pink roses.   Whisperwill Vines: Vines that have tiny white flowers. When the wind blows, they emit a melodic whisper-like sound, commonly found around Misty Isles.  

Fauna:

Dire Lions: Larger and more ferocious than their regular counterparts, these creatures roam the savannahs of Cumberland.   Roc: Giant birds of prey that nest in The World's Teeth. Legends say they can carry away a full-grown mammoth.   Basilisks: Creatures found in The Burning Sea that can petrify anyone who meets their gaze.   Merfolk: Aquatic beings known to inhabit the waters of Dragon Sea, occasionally trading with the coastal cities.   Awakened Trees: Trees brought to life by ancient magic, often guardians of sacred or vital places in Al Folia.   Mimics: These shape-shifters are known to take on the appearance of common objects to ambush unsuspecting victims, usually found in ancient ruins or dungeons.   Silver Serpents: Shiny, metallic-hued snakes found in Riverland, rumored to have healing properties in their venom.   Pegasus: Majestic winged horses occasionally spotted in the skies over Everfell.   Kraken: A legendary sea monster dwelling in the depths of the Braxat Sea, sailors share tales of ships being pulled under by its enormous tentacles.   Owlbears: Fierce creatures with the body of a bear and the face of an owl, residing in the dense forests of Nonny.   Treants: Large tree-like creatures, often considered the guardians of the forests in Ak'na Dul.  

Domesticated Animals:

Yak’nar Beetles: Large beetles used in The Burning Sea for transport. They can carry heavy loads and travel long distances without water.   Flufftail Hares: Common pets in Tagramoor known for their long fluffy tails and playful nature.   Skywhale: Gigantic whales that float in the air instead of water, used by the inhabitants of the Wind Lands as a mode of transportation.
