Misty Isles
The Misty Isles are a series of islands off the coast of Riverlands, in the Broken Sea. A local phenomenon causes the islands to always have a thick mist surrounding them. Some speculate this is magic at work, other claim it is a natural reaction caused by the cold water of he seas mixing with the warm air of the hot springs on the islands.
Geography
Steep and craggy rocks make up the island.
Localized Phenomena
The mist is a constant presence on the islands. Thicker over the water, it thins as it proceeds inland, but never quite goes away.
Fauna & Flora
Small birds and mammals are the only life on the islands, as large predators don't appear to be able to sustain themselves on the smaller game.
Snakes are abundant, as are spiders and insects, but nothing larger than a dog.
