Aasimar (AY-sim-arr)

Aasimar are a humanoid race of people born with a Celestial spark in them. Any race of humanoid creature can be an aasimar, so long as one of their direct ancestors had relations with an angel or Celestial guardian.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Aasimar look very close to their parents but with otherworldly beauty. They are taller, more muscular, almost glowing with light, and have unique eyes that give away their Celestial legacy.

Behaviour

Aasimar grow up being loved, respected, cherished, and even, idolized. Some find this overwhelming and flee the praise and devotion, while others revel in it. Many fail to realize that aasimar are not angles, but mortal beings with flaws and vices all their own.

Aasimar can be exploited as faces of organizations wishing to give themselves a noble or civil appearance. Many cults will actively recruit Aasimar to their beliefs, and then use the beauty and Charisma of the Aasimar to lure even more followers in.

Facial characteristics

Aasimar will very often have silver or golden eyes, pale purple, alabaster, golden, or deep, rich mahogany coloring. They usually have silver, gold or copper hair and strong yet smooth features.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Aasimar have dark vision, and Minor magical abilities granted to them by their ancestry. Some can sprout incorporeal  wings and fly for brief spurts, while others can heal with a simple touch of their hands.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Aasimar skin color can be nearly any color, though light blue, silver and brown are most common. The biggest give away that a person might be an Aasimar, however, is that their skin will glow, ever so faintly at all times. They hold an inner light.
