Zakerans
The Zakerans1 inhabit the area around Zaþil Lake, the upper Þán River and the city of Danþyl in southern Malónat. Some Zakeran warriors, like the Faþilítans in Kaiqonon to the east, are given the honour of patrolling the ancient Reþokúl Wall that marks the sacred southern boundries of Útel civilization.

Cuisine
Giant salamander eggs in vinegar are a common dish among the Zakerans, especially around Zaþil. The area around the lake is currently the only place where Vipló Trees are grown, ever since the ancient city-state of Nanaþ'alinei was abandoned and the area cut off by the Reþokúl Wall. The fruit they produce is mostly used to flavor a kind of wine called vipló'þil, which is highly sought after by other Útels, both for drinking and especially libations in honour of Ela'k.Common Dress code
Zakeran clothing is virtually the same as the common Útel outfit, with a distinct preference for green and purple.
