Demiplane

Effects

You create a shadowy door on a flat solid surface that you can see within range. The door is large enough to allow Medium creatures to pass through unhindered.

When opened, the door leads to a demiplane that appears to be an empty 7x7x2 tile room in each dimension, made of wood or stone. When the spell ends, the door disappears, and any creatures or objects inside the demiplane remain trapped there, as the door also disappears from the other side.

When you cast this spell, you can create a new demiplane, or have the shadowy door connect to a demiplane you created with a previous casting of this spell.

Please open a ritual ticket to proceed with your demiplane ritual and for the casting of your demiplane. When opening your Demiplane ticket, please include the following information:

• Clan Name
• Building set you would like
• Size of the demiplane up to 7x7x2. The size of the demiplane must be specified during the ritual casting when it is built and cannot be changed after the initial cast.

Demiplanes are built in a specialty area of the map and under the terrain. For this reason, special requests such as windows or scenic views are unlikely to be accomodated.

Demiplane Rules

• You may only have ONE demiplane at a time.
• You cannot store items (including ravencrest letters & RP items) within a demiplane. You may deco only.
• You cannot set home within your demiplane.
• Teleport ritual locations cannot be set within demiplanes.
• You cannot connect Demiplanes together or exceed the allowed buildable size of the demiplane space (7x7x2)
• Demiplanes cannot have multiple entrances/exits.
• Demiplanes share building piece count with the main clan build and do not receive additional allowances.
  
• Vampires may not store their coffins in demiplanes.

Players may not reside in a demiplane for the duration of tracking and must instead be 'resting in a temporary camp or clan build. This is to prevent exploitation in the tracking process, or errors in the demiplane entrance being moved or otherwise obfuscated.

Demiplane Building Extension
A building extension of 250 total extra BP/Placeables for 5 Gold is offered to players that are casting the demiplane ritual. This can be stacked per demiplane with a maximum of 3 extensions per clan. This building extension cannot be purchased by any other clan member, only the owner of the demiplane. Should the demiplane be removed due to character reroll or otherwise, the building extension will also be removed.

This extension can be purchased at a later date than the original setup of the Demiplane.

This extension is not mandatory.

How to Use Demiplane

1. After your demiplane has been set up, you may use the Demiplane button in RPR or the /demiplane command in chat to open the menu.
2. In the menu, you will be able to open your portal or close your existing one. Summoning a portal costs one small component pouch. You are able to summon your portal at either your current location, or the last location it was opened.
3. When you summon your portal, it will appear in front of you. Press E on the portal to enter.
4. When inside your demiplane, you will be able to use the /demiplane menu to close the external portal. If you do not do this, it will remain open for 6 hours.
5. To exit your demiplane, press E on the exit portal inside your demiplane.
