Effects
Uttering a powerful incantation, you summon a Least or Lesser being from an extraplanar location. The following subclasses and races have the options of creature type they may summon:Mindflayer, Great Old One Warlock: Abberations
Hag, Archfey Warlock: Fey
Movanic Deva, Celestial Warlock: Celestials
Cambion, Fiend Warlock: Fiends (In line with patronage)
Conjuration Wizard: Devils, Elementals
Fathomless Warlock: Elementals (Plane of Water)
An alternative option may be chosen based on the given patron/caster, requiring DM Approval beforehand.
The being appears in an unoccupied space that you can see within range. The being disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends.
If imprisoned, these beings will escape or be retrieved by their own kind within 24 hours. Under no circumstances can such a being be kept permanently or imprisoned for a great length of time. The being summoned is random, meaning that you will never be able to summon the same being multiple times.
The being is unfriendly toward you and your companions. It is under the Dungeon Master’s control and acts according to its nature, which might result in its attacking you if it thinks it can prevail, or trying to tempt you to undertake an act in exchange for limited service. The DM has the creature’s statistics.
If sent to attack other players, the consent of the targeted party is required. No marks can be given as a result of this battle, and players or allies of players involved in summoning the being may not fight alongside it. Beings will not pick or partake in fights that are against their nature.
