Forest of Tarlot

Forest of Tarlot – This expansive old growth forest spans the rocky coast of the Windy Sea from the mouth of the River Karm to the mouth of the River Jagobe. The forest extends up to 100 miles inland. The forest has the characteristics of a temperate rainforest with huge old trees and thick carpets of ferns. There is considerable industry cutting wood along the forest's northern and southern edges where access to the river is relatively easy. The interior of the forest is a trackless wilderness inhabited by a few bands of beast men, a variety of wildlife and monsters.
