Korliss
The town of Korliss is located on on a rise that gives it view for miles around across the surrounding Karmin Plain. The town was once Karmis' westernmost border fortress, but now is the Capital of an independent Barony. The town is well fortified with a 20' tower studded wall surrounding it.
Demographics
The town has a large Danite population making up about a third of its residents. The remainder of the is made up of Northrons and Northron Corgerians.
Government
The town is the capital of the independent Barony of Korliss with the Baroness and her extended family residing in the castle. Most governmental responsibilities are carried out by members of the ruling family.
Defences
The town is atop of relatively flat topped hill some 150' in height. It features a 20' wall with towers at 100' intervals. The towers mount various war engines. Three strongly built gatehouses control access to the fortress. Eturrra castle sits at the southern side of the town and only has one gate, which leads into the town's main square.
Industry & Trade
The town is know for its skilled artisans. The town exports glassware, stained glass, jewelry and high quality ceramics.
Infrastructure
The town has cobbled streets kept dry by a well-designed network of storm sewers. The towns springs feed a number of public fountains providing freshwater to the town residents. A public bath house is also feed by one of the springs.
Architecture
The town is typically northern. Its two and three story stone houses are closely packed with steep roofs covered in red tiles.
Geography
The town is atop a 150' high, flat-topped hill watered by several springs.
