The Faezress Tear
An unnatural area brought about by Faezress leaking from the underdark into the surface world, brought about by the Myconid People migrating to the surface to escape the Illithid.

Geography
A massive fungal forest where thick purple Faezress clouds block out all sunlight. The only plants to grow here are corrupted by the powerful Faezress and giant mushrooms that seem to stem from some arcane source.
Ecosystem
The Faezress Tear brings the brutality of life in the underdark to the surface. It is kill or be killed in any aspect. Edible food and clean water are scarce and constantly being fought over between violent Factions and vicious under-beasts.

History
The Faezress tear was originally a part of the Drathzari Forest. As the Myconid people came to the surface, bringing their powerful mushroom artifacts with them, the entire landscape slowly began to change and grow corrupt from the Faezress leaking into the surface.
