SteepGulf
Steepgulf is a large stone city sitting behind a tight bottleneck canyon, with the back of the keep standing above a massive precipice, looking out over the visible split between the dense foliage of the Jungle of Feathers and the barren emptiness of the Endless Desert.
Steepgulf has found itself mostly protected, if not in loose disrepair, due to its strategically powerful positioning and fairly capable city guard, with the rich, noble class of the city living in the ancient Elven buildings and castles near the Steepgulf Precipice, while a more human, stone settlement has been built out into the massive canyon protecting SteepGulf's northern walls.
Steepgulf has always been guarded by Lord David Bellelin, a Crownsguard who was assigned to lead the city when The Crown took power. Lord Bellelin ruled firmly but all around competently throughout the Age of Law, but as it drew to a close and all of the Crownsguard were called to do their duty in Exousía, Lord Bellelin however refused to leave his people and his family. His separation from the Crown of Law has began to set in a madness to Lord Bellelin.
Now the city lives in fear of their lord. an extremely powerful entity who sees his peoples feeble human lives as expendable and seeking out vast and aggressive expansion, in an attempt to establish law and order where it has been lost, and then he will welcome him Crownsguard allies back with open arms, to cure these sick, weak beings.
Currently Lord Bellelin is in search of his daughter and wife, who fled his regime after the lord because severely abusive and threatening to the pair, telling the late Lady Bellelin that he would kill her and her daughter should Lady Emily Bellelin the second not exhibit Crownsguard power by the end of next goodharvest.
