Dorei Shonin (Doe-r-eye show-nin)
During the Age of Platinum, the Sun Elves of Chūmon, led by Amaterasu the Sun Goddess, revolted against Gal'Galed in the Darkened Sun Revolution. After the sun elves defeat, as a punishment for this transgression, Gal'Galed used the Crown of Law to curse the Sun Elves. This curse made the Sun that these people once worshipped and harnessed divine energy from, and made it their enemy, causing the newly formed Drow Elves to be blinded by it, even sickened by it after too long.
The Drow Elves were sent to Ómar Crún in the Drathzari Forest, where Ex'valia the Lady of Spirits guided them to the underdark so they may try to find a life there. Here, the Drow were victims to the Duergar and other corrupted creatures of the Faezress. After years of being pushed around, never finding a new home, Lolth the Spider Queen placed her influence over the Elves, bringing them to safety, bringing them the power of her cruelty to contend against the other races here. This is when the Dorei Shōnin clans were established.
Since, the Dorei Shōnin have become one of the strongest factions in the underdark, maintaining and uneasy trade agreement with the Duergar, while enslaving and slaughtering any weaker creatures that stand in their way. Currently the Dorei Shōnin are rapidly expanding their empire, even making excursions to the Faezress Tear on the surface. This rapid expansion is a result of the Illithid conquering nearly every species of the underdark with their psionic enslavement, along with the dangers of the Adamantine Legion breaking their allegiance with The Drow as a result of this.
Structure
The Temple of Lolth oversees the running of the Dorei Shonin and its operations. They operate above the various Drow Clans that make up the Dorei Shonin. Each clan is lead by it's noble family's and their samurai.
Culture
the Dorei Shonin is a complete theocracy under Lolth. Their society is Matriarchal as a result of this, making men second class citizens while propping up the female priestesses and Noblewomen. Their whole culture surrounds their internal clan warfare, where people frequently are assassinated, ousted, and otherwise dealt with to secure power and influence within their society.

History
Originally the Sun elves of Chumon. The Dorei Shonin formed from the remnants of their people after Gal'Galed cursed them for rebelling against his rule. This banished the Sun Elves to the dark below.

Lolth is one of the demon princes of the Abyss. When the Sun Elves were cursed to the underdark, She guided them away from the sun and helped them survive using her religious guidance.

Believe that someday there will be a time when Collatus falls into utter darkness and the Spider Queen will have her armies scuttle across the land.They believe that this will be their reward for serving so loyally after being brought under her protection.

- The weak are worth nothing if they cannot be subjugated to follow Lolth

- Prayer must be conducted daily, in addition to frequent human sacrifices
