Did nothing wro... well okay he's done awful stuff but it's an Arbiter from Halo kind of thing... but without the redemption arc... he literally comes to the conclusion that his actions were wrong as he's bleeding out. Damn that's actually sad.

Personal history
As the second child of Goners (3-4 foot tall lizard/velociraptor people) parents, he was automatically confiscated for military purposes. He already had a lot of warrior genes in him (the Goners genetically modified themselves into classes back when they had an empire) but more were used to turn him into an utter death machine in war.
Raised in the military, he was trained into a deadly fighter, even killing Tartles cannon-fodder in his early training as practice. Throughout this, he was taught that the The LIR or League of Intelligent Races made things better wherever it conquered, that he had to do well to make up for the actions of the Goners and that it was the fault of the humans that the Goner Empire fell. To be fair that last one is super true.
His first deployment, done alongside 199 other super-soldiers, was against an Arachs hive to steal all the eggs within it. Only 53 came back when it turned out these Arachs had actually figured out how to clumsily use LIR weapons from the casualties of previous missions, but the Blue Death made sure to bring back a sack full of Arach eggs.
He was able to climb the combat ranks for his capability in combat as he proved himself time and time again against Sagwalli Templar splinter groups, groups of pirates from Zee Pirate Confederation , members of the Human Uprising, robots in the death-zone that said robots call Le Automatic Empire , Avians infected with a deadly disease that had to be contained and even rebellious members of his own species.
Next was the LIR's biggest civil war yet: it started as natural vs artificial/worshiper races but got very complicated with time as pieces of the LIR declared independence, Zee Pirate Confederation and other pirate groups ran rampant, contagious bio-weapons got involved, the CHG provided the humans and Goners with the ships and gear they needed to rebel, The Great Khanate enjoyed eating up lots of territory, literally every other nation used agents to make the war keep going, religious/fanatic terrorist groups rose up ISIS/Al Qaeda style, megacorps decided to become nations, people thought the LIR was gonna end, the Sagwalli Templar decided it was gonna genocide everything that wasn't a Toppers (top lads in the LIR) or Sagwalli , someone tried to make a Jeff the insanely intelligent AI and really it was just a giant mess.
The Blue Death was very confused the entire time but clarity came when the faction he was in at the time, the Topper Supremacists, decided to try and invade the CHG, believing it'd be weak from its own civil war (which was initially between the CHG and The Great Terrorist Organisation but then The Church of Blades and others got involved and it was just a giant mess) but turned out to be WRONG when they were utterly crushed by a single faction.
What came of it? Well it reminded both the CHG and LIR that the other existed so the factions within each that were warring with one another suddenly became more willing to make compromises for peace and unity out of fear of what would happen if the other did it first. Also this faction that crushed them invaded them, pulled out when the Sagwalli Templar showed up and brought all the humans and weapons back with them.
