The Church of Blades
A religion especially popular with the Shield Tribes, the Church of Blades merges numerous religions, promotes humanity as a master race over other intelligent alien life forms and, as a temporary development in their religion, also claimed that everyone should be a member of the religion or die.
Structure
Regular follower -> "warrior of the faith" (has internal ranks) -> preacher -> area preacher (it progresses up like this to their Pope equivalent, the Blade Seer)

Making all humans members of their religions and then enslaving all non-human intelligent life, a merger of the state and their religion.
Assets
Fanatic fighters, schools in which children are fanaticised, child fanatic fighters, funding and coordination from the Great Terrorist Organisation.
History
It started soon after the building of the Biggest Place of Worship in Humanity, with numerous religions starting up that attempted to merge all or some human religions starting up. The proto-Church of Blades came with the merging of these different merger religions, which eventually became very organised. With CHG encouragement, this religion became very much in favour of humanity > everything else, becoming more militaristic with time as members were encouraged to join the military in times of war (they were eventually all deliberately put into the same squads and regiments because of how much they annoyed non-member soldiers and so that they'd be easier to control as their fanaticism often resulted in them acting out of line).
Its biggest time of recruitment was when High Preacher Maleus toured the CHG, giving speeches at conventions while secretly spraying the air with aerial narcotics that made the listeners more easily influenced and televising his speeches. On an average day, he would make 27 YewToob videos "encouraging" (*coughs in hypnotic backgrounds and specific use of tones of voice to bypass any listeners ability to think with their head rather than their easily-influenced heart about what they were told*) people to join the Church of Blades.
Finally, the Church of Blades got itself a terrorist splinter group 17 years before the Great Terrorist War. The GTO encouraged and funded this group, setting it loose just before the war began so that it could take over the main religion and start forcefully expanding as a religious state. Nothing more will be revealed for the sake of spoilers.
Disbandment
Not yet... deals were made for the sake of ending the civil war and the Church of Blades still exists... just as a regular religion rather than a militaristic terrorist group.
Demography and Population
1 thing in common between everyone in their state: everyone is either a worshiper of the Church of Blades gods or is pretending to be for the sake of their head. Racially/ethnically diverse, although GMOs are looked down upon and planned to be eliminated from existence in one of a few ways: give them guns and send them all to their deaths as the front line troops for an invasion of the LIR, stop making more of them and let the fact that they're already sterilized do the rest or Holocaust 3.
Territories
They hold the Galactic North of the Shield Region and it only shrinks from there.
Military
They have a mixture of legit soldiers and thugs with guns (the latter of which are used for law enforcement and when there aren't enough available actual soldiers, which is most of the time, and are constantly being converted into legit soldiers). If neither of those appear to be enough, the regular populace will be used as well, including children. There are also elite soldiers that are taken from young ages in schools and both fanaticised and trained for war, although most of these are quite young as this hasn't been going on for very long.

Technological Level
Same as everyone else... sort of. They make lower quality and less technologically advanced weapons for the sake of cheapness and, were they to take over, technology would probably go backwards.

It's the Church of Blades or getting stabbed with spades.
Foreign Relations
They hate everyone but themselves.
Agriculture & Industry
Slightly less than the amount needed for a sustainable nation is forced to work in agriculture and non-weapons industry. Almost everyone else is either made into a soldier or put to work in weapons production.
