CHG Incorporated
So the CHG kinda came to power through a thing called a coup. During this coup, lots of megacorps that had corporate interests hired mercenaries to ensure The UHN or United Human Nation wasn't toppled by this new CHG thingy. The megacorps lost. The CHG seized ownership of every business that had hired or contributed to hiring so much as a single mercenary against them.
They were all merged into one and renamed:
CHG Incorporated.
Structure
Yeah about that it's very flexible as it gets to run itself (but must give a portion of profit to the CHG, the rest of which has to be endlessly reinvested) and is actually a collection of lots of different CHG-owned businesses.
Public Agenda
It's meant to just be for generating revenue for the CHG but the CHG's control of it also makes it a valuable tool for messing with the economy: megacorps charging too much for [INSERT VITAL GOOD LIKE FOOD OR MEDICINE] when there's enough to go around? Put your [INSERT VITAL GOOD LIKE FOOD OR MEDICINE] prices really low so the megacorps have to as well to compete. Unemployment being a big issue? Hire lots of people. This is always being done on a planetary basis so that the profits from doing things normally on planets where everything's all cool can cover the costs of messing around on planets where not everything's all cool.
On top of this CHG Incorporated is great for talent-scouting for those who could be of brilliant service to the regular CHG government.
Assets
Lot$ of mon£¥, Tonnes of staff, a few private armies, tonnes of ships and pretty much anything any business could ever hope for, including government support. Being so inter-twined with the government also means that anyone who robs you or tries to sue you for malpractice is in for a bad time.

The CHG decided to seize ownership of all the megacorps they half-destroyed during The CHG-UHN War and kablamo we got ourselves CHG Incorporated (you know you want to click it. Do it. Feed the loop-lords. Harness the darkness within).
