The Galdur District is the magic based district of Capital City and the home of the Dewin guild as the Theithos College is the largest marker in this district.

Here I will list the most important shops of the Galdur District. These are mostly magic shops as the Dewin is the biggest player in this district.
The most legendary magic shop of Capital City is the Magique Morgana and is managed by Melkor the Magical, a legendary enchanter. Here, the elite can find whatever they need when it comes to magical wondrous items. Or they can ask Melkor to enchant a weapon for them as well.
For those looking for a shop specialized in wondrous items, there is Belethor's Baubles, managed by Belethor Quicksand. This Fel'in Fae has collected these wondrous items throughout his travels of the many continents and even realms. How he got them, he does not say.
Those in need for everything that a starting mage to an expert sorcerer might need, goes to the Scrolls and Scourges under the management of Ari Whistlewind. This is the specialized shop of the Dewin and many students go there to get there first needs, like a spellbook or crafting components.
For all of your potion needs in this district one can visit the Catatonic Compound managed by Quinten Groundworker. It isn't the best herbalist of Capital City but he tries to be and his work is still regarded as highly valuable.
If you are in need of magical books and spells you can go to the Enchanted Eye. It is managed by Balthazar Halfarthuun, a Balaur who is not fond of the Dewin but will assist the students when they have the coin.
Points of interest
The main destination for those who reside in the Galdur District is the Theithos College, a giant university campus that teaches magic to those able. Most of the district is catered around the college that has been a mark of Capital City for over 400 years now. Throughout the centuries many different buildings expanded the campus of the college.
Near the college, there is the Gandahar Library which houses the largest collection of spell books in Arthenos. This immense library covets knowledge and hoards it better than any dragon would. They are continuously looking for valuable and rare books.
A bit further away from the college but still officially part of the campus, is the Avalon Laboratory, where people can practically study magic through research and experiments. Many students who finish their studies come here to research spells and magical items.

Inns & Taverns
The inns in the Galdur District are catered around the mages guild of the Dewin. Students need a space to relax from all that studying and thus there are many pubs or taverns where students might go out to loosen up a bit. The Exotic Evoker is the main hub for students of the Theithos College. There are many events organized especially for students of the college. It is the perfect place to meet new friends and to learn about the culture of the college. The Unveiling Unicorn is the inn where travelers come to visit the Galdur District. It is located near the Theithos College and is thus perfect for those looking to join the guild to stay there for a while. The Smouldering Smear a more rough tavern of the district. The owner was Eduard Goldbottom More shady people come here and thus the guard of the Red Legion stay away from here unless they have specific business with the customers. The Smouldering Smear has recently been destroyed and Eduard was killed by a member of the Eternal Sun.
